Love this challenge. I would like to try it too. Thank you for being brave and taking this on especially in these uncertain times. I can’t wait to read what comes of this challenge.

So glad to see back in community. Stepping away, receiving what you need, and giving yourself grace to be where you are.

It's kind of like caregiving with the state of the world at the moment. Yes, service to share our light and show kindness but also caring for self to serve within.

I'm very excited about your writing challenge and cannot wait to read what you write.

I have a similar plan but to share my memoir in progress to see what resonates and hold space for others who can relate.

Best of luck with it all and sending lots of love for peace and kindness. ❤️

90 days! How lovely! And grueling, but ultimately it will be lovely because you will create! I'm very inspired by this. I did Jami's #1000wordsofsummer last year and am considering it again this year. I'm kind of the opposite of you -- my kids are home with me over the summer so any time I get to write will be unplanned! But if I set a challenge for myself like you did, or if I join Jami's, I might get myself an iced shaken espresso and get my butt in the chair Good luck! Keep us updated!

Abby, I’m in. Not right now, but very soon. I’ll be embarking on a new challenge (that may be best explained through feelings and the written word) that will take my career on a different trajectory. I’ll still be creating video for consumption by the public but it will be more so in the vein of instructional design.

At the moment I’m reading The Dispossessed by Ursula K. Le Guin. My wife and I have joined a book club with the intention of finding other likeminded souls.

We just finished season two of Andor and have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of The Studio.

I’ve a birthday around the corner and I’m going to two Royals games this weekend with dear friends.

All this is to say that I will likely be infused with extreme joy in the coming days. But I know it will not last. After time and decads, as Ursula says, have passed I’m sure to find myself in the morass of our current social state, overseen by the goober goo who is utterly devoid of logic or thought, who pertly resembles a discarded piece of cheese made for one of the original fast food burgers.

Your challenge is right as rain and I look forward to being reminded to embark on my own version today.

Let’s do this. 🤓

Goober goo, indeed. Put perfectly eloquently. I will have to check out this book you mentioned! And I love that you joined a book club. I started one this year and it's been a huge source of joy in my life. I learn so much from the smart, generous voices in the room. xo
